The Race to Address Health Inequalities: Community Nursing in the Lead
RegionEurope

The International Collaboration for Community Health Nursing Research (ICCHNR) is proud to announce the 2025 ICCHNR Conference, which will be held both in person and remotely at City St George’s, University of London, in collaboration with the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI). The conference theme addresses the urgent global challenges of our time. With the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2016 and a 5-year timeline remaining to achieve these targets by 2030, this event will explore the vital role of community nursing in advancing these goals. The SDGs aim to improve human well-being, protect planetary health, eliminate poverty, and promote peace.

This conference offers a unique platform to showcase the significant contributions of nurses working in partnership with communities to address these critical global issues. The sub-themes of the conference will focus on the 5 pillars of the SDGs: People, Planet, Peace, Prosperity, and Partnership. Presentations will highlight how community nursing is tackling inequities in each of these areas and how nursing research is shedding light on these efforts.

Call for abstracts is open until 30th November 2024!
