While a number of governments have sought to improve access to general practice, or the working lives of GPs, via a mix of technological, administrative and staffing interventions, the idea that Artificial Intelligence (AI) could play a meaningful role is far more recent. Co-authored with the Royal College of General Practitioners, this report explores the proportion of GPs in the UK currently using AI in their clinical practice, as well as how they are using it.
