This document highlights and proposes strategies to address challenges that may arise when integrating
commodities and PSM activities and implementing iCCM programs that are co-funded by the Global Fund
and other donors. The issues addressed in this report will guide MOHs, Country Coordinating
Mechanisms (CCMs), PRs and Sub Recipients, UNICEF, other partners’ regional and country offices, and
PSM consultants in sound, integrated PSM planning processes for their proposed iCCM programs within
the broader context of the Global Fund’s new funding model. It highlights and proposes strategies to
address challenges that may arise when integrating commodities and PSM activities, and implementing
iCCM programs that are co-funded by the Global Fund and other donors.
