On the tail of World Immunization Week, there is contemplation regarding the transition from vaccine hesitancy to vaccine confidence and the pivotal role that primary health care can play in facilitating this shift. PHC workers emerge as the most trusted sources of vaccination information. They wield significant influence in garnering public trust, whether it involves addressing caregivers’ concerns or patients’ skepticism. Therefore, it is imperative that they possess knowledge grounded in the latest evidence concerning the risks of vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccine side effects, and the management of adverse events following immunization (AEFI). However, mere possession of this knowledge is insufficient. Effectively communicating this evidence to skeptics demands a challenging skill set. Moreover, effective communication necessitates time, a resource known to be exceedingly scarce in PHC settings amidst today’s fast-paced environment.
